At James Barber Shop, we take pride in our industry-leading service and quality. With over a decade of expertise, we stand by every product we sell. Our warranty ensures your equipment remains functional and polished for years, giving you confidence in your investment.

Warranty Coverage

Hydraulic Chairs

Hydraulic bases are covered for two years from the date of receipt.

Extended warranties may apply for specific products, offering coverage for up to 3, 5, 7, or 10 years. Please refer to individual product details.

Other components of the chair are covered for one year unless otherwise specified.

Shampoo Bowls & Backwash Units

Covered for one year against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

Warranty applies only if installed and serviced by a licensed professional. Installation or service by non-licensed individuals will void the warranty.

Ensure compliance with local plumbing regulations.

Remaining components are guaranteed for one year unless otherwise noted.

Dryers

Motors in all branded dryers are covered for three years.

Heating elements, thermostats, hoods, timers, and other components are warranted for one year, provided proper maintenance (e.g., filter changes) is performed.

Mats

Mats are warranted for two years against wear-through and separation.

Extended warranties may apply—refer to specific product details.

Skincare Equipment

All skincare equipment and components are covered for one year, unless otherwise stated.

Extended warranties may apply—refer to specific product details.

Cabinetry

All cabinetry is covered under a two-year warranty for laminates, drawer slides, and hinges.

 

General Warranty Terms

What’s Covered:

Defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.

Replacement or repair of defective parts or products.

What’s Not Covered:

Normal wear and tear, misuse, abuse, or improper maintenance.

Damage caused by water, fire, or acts of nature (e.g., floods).

Fading, discoloration, or staining of fabrics.

Improper installation or modifications.

Labour costs for repairs.

Warranty replacement does not reset the warranty period.

 
Making a Warranty Claim
1. Reporting the Issue:
Contact us at info@jamesbarbershop.uk with a clear description of the issue, your order details, and supporting photographic or video evidence.
2. Assessment:
We will assess the claim and determine whether the defect is covered under the warranty.
3. Returning Defective Products:
If required, defective items must be returned to James Barber Shop to validate the warranty.
Warranty claims within 30 days of purchase: James Barber Shop covers all shipping costs (both ways).
Warranty claims after 30 days: Buyers are responsible for return shipping.
4. Resolution:
Once the defective product is received and inspected, we will repair or replace it with a comparable item.
 
Shipping & Repairs

We can only reship replacements to the original delivery address. If you need to ship to a different address, additional fees may apply.

Compliance with local building and safety codes is the responsibility of the customer.

 

Consumer Rights in the UK

This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Under UK law, products must be:
